Tsu Cong Medical Staff Organize Voluntary Blood Donation Activity, Spreading Love and Hope
Amid the sweltering summer days, today was once again filled with sincere and warmhearted sentiment. Under the organization and guidance of the Party Cell, our hospital’s voluntary blood donation activity was successfully held. Before the program began, colleagues actively registered to participate. Everyone took the initiative to adjust their rest time, take care of their health, arrange their work appropriately, and eagerly looked forward to this meaningful activity.
At 8:00 a.m., the blood donation vehicle arrived at the hospital on time. Although the summer heat was intense and harsh, it could not diminish everyone’s compassion and enthusiasm. Party members and leading cadres took the lead in participating, and the clinical medical staff, administrative staff, and logistics personnel also responded actively. Everyone consciously lined up in an orderly manner and cooperated in completing the steps of information registration, blood pressure measurement, preliminary blood testing, blood collection, and blood donation. The entire process was orderly, considerate, and full of warmth.
As medical workers who have spent many years on the front line of healthcare, we understand better than anyone the preciousness of blood. In our daily work, we often witness critically ill patients who urgently need blood transfusion, and see them bravely struggle against illness and pain. We deeply understand that a bag of warm blood is hope and the strength that sustains life.
Beyond the glory of the white coat, we are also ordinary people with compassionate hearts.
In this activity, there were not only colleagues who have maintained blood donation for many years, but also young medical staff who gave their love for the first time. What moved everyone even more were two warm stories at the scene: a patient’s family member from a ward happened to learn about the blood donation activity and specially came to participate; Comrade Qiao from the Medical Insurance Department and her husband also came to donate blood, spreading love through practical action.
Under the guidance and encouragement of the Party Cell, everyone contributed silently, transforming the gentleness and benevolence of healthcare workers into practical action. Every drop of warm blood gradually converged into a warm current that safeguards life, preserving the beautiful image of the dedication and humanity of those in the medical profession.
